Cafe Teresa Parking: Good, lots of room as the pub is located in a small plaza. Seating: Plenty of stools and bar tables. The bar is 'L' shaped with seating all. The bar seats are spaciously distanced from each other, leaving the option open to drag another bar stool in to accommodate other guests. I had to continually remind Nacluv that the vases and other decorative bottles and jars were just that and not beer mugs. Food menu: Seems to have something for everyone and prepared very well. I had the Mediterranean Chicken Wrap which was sizeable enough for me take half of it home. Nacluv did the same as he ordered the Barbados Wrap unaware that the sauce used was well seasoned and a bit hot for his tender tongue. Nonetheless, for those who like spicy Mexican and/or chicken wings, you will enjoy this selection.
Beer menu: There is a variety of bottled beers along with an array of drafts. The draft menu is on a board on the wall to the left of the bar. Always looking to try new and interesting brews, I selected the 'Road Dead Guy' and found it to be very much along the lines of your typical IPA family. Nacluv was washing his spicy wrap down with the Boddington Pale Ale. Between flushing his mouth of the spicy sauce he mentioned that it was a bit light for his taste. That is not to say that it was a bad beer, as those who enjoy the non-hoppy tasting beers will find this a pleasant faire. Nacluv also sampled the Sierra Pale Ale which he found very tasty and one that could become his favorite. Pointing to the draft menu he reminded me that there were still others begging to be tried which we will do on our next visit. The wait-staff, who is this case was Laura, was friendly, very outgoing and made our visit a pleasant one. She has been with Cafe Teresa for over fifteen years following a career as a teacher. From her great smile and easy going nature as well as her passion for being part of the Cafe Teresa family, you will find that you will be relaxed and have a great time. Although we did not get an opportunity to meet any of the other patrons, we noticed that it was a friendly and a place where one could easily become a second home.
Other amenities include the outdoor area that we will be looking forward to visiting when the game will be to enjoy the summer sun rather than fighting the December chill. Though I may rethink this as ever since Nacluv watched the Olympic beach volleyball matches, he thinks that wherever there be sand, there should be a volleyball game going on. Maybe I'll bring along a pail and shovel so he can amuse himself while enjoy a cold draft on a hot summer day.
I do shudder whenever we visit a pub where there are decorative items about as Nacluv has taken it upon himself to learn and understand more about Earth's art. There was one time we passed by a real estate office where there was a sign that read 'Lots for Sale'.... Nacluv, in his inquisitive nature turned and asked me '.... lots of what for sale?' .... Thank you Earth for inventing beer... it does help during these times. |
